POLICE LAUNCH INVESTIGATION INTO KILLING OF HOTELIER, 2 OTHERS IN EBONYI

Ebonyi State Police Command has launched investigations into the killing of a hotelier and two other persons at a popular hotel in Isu Onicha Local Government Area.
A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. Chris Anyanwu, explained that the victims were killed by suspected hoodlums who attacked the hotel with AK 47 rifles.
It noted that police operatives, who rushed to the scene of the incident, recovered shells of of expended AK47 ammunition and the corpses of those shot dead.
It requested members of the public to volunteer reliable information that could unravel the identities of those behind the attack.
Radio Nigeria gathered that the attackers were three in number and rode on a motorcycle.
