BEN KALU DISTRIBUTES FOOD TO THE POOR

The Deputy Speaker House of Representatives, Chief Benjamin Kalu, has called on Nigerians to keep supporting and encouraging President Bola Tinubu in his efforts towards driving the country’s economy to a greater height.

Chief Kalu made the call at his country house, Bende, in Abia State while distributing food items to some poor and less privileged persons in the area.

He assured Nigerians of better days ahead under the administration of President Tinubu, pointing out that the hardships passed through by the masses were not caused by the present federal government but as a result of poor mismanagement of resources by past governments.

The Deputy Speaker, who is also the member representing Bende Federal constituency, said he decided to mark his 53rd birthday in his home town with the less privileged, widows, the motherless and persons with disability in the society in order to reach out to them and feel their pains.

Over 2,000 persons with various eye problems received treatments from a medical team during the occasion.
