ABIA STATE GETS 5 NEW PERM SECS

Five new Permanent Secretaries have been sworn into the Abia State civil service by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

Speaking after administering the oath of office and allegiance by the representative of the Solicitor- General and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice, Mrs. Udo Onukwube, at the Government House, Umuahia, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu charged them to use their wealth of experience to transform the state.

The Governor urged the permanent secretaries to abide by their oaths of office and never allow their personal interests to override their official engagements.

Responding on behalf of the new Permanent Secretaries, Mrs.Chimdi-Ejiogu Ugonwa, thanked the Governor for the elevation and pledged their commitment and unalloyed loyalty to the present administration and gave full assurance of performing their duties delligently.
