MISSING SOLDIER: GOV NWIFURU READS RIOT ACT TO EFFIUM/EZZA EFFIUM COMMUNITIES

Ebonyi State Government says it has received a report that one óf the soldiers on peace mission at Akparata axis of Effium in Óhaukwu Local Government Area is missing.

To this end, the state Governor, Chief Francis Nwifuru, has ordered that the soldier be produced alive before noon on Thursday, October 26, 2023.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Monday Uzor, emphasised that the Government would be left with no option than to declare war against whoever that was involved in the disappearance of the soldier, be it Effiuim or Ezza Effiuim people.

It noted that those found culpable would never inhabit the community again.

According to the statement, the Governor also warned that the Committee intervening in the crisis may be dissolved if the missing solder is not found.
