WE WON’T GIVE EGYPT ROOM TO OPERATE – SIASIA

Stand-in-coacsiasiah of the Super Eagles Samson Siasia has revealed that his boys will not give the Pharaohs of Egypt room to operate during the forthcoming 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier between the two teams this Friday in Kaduna. Siasia who spoke yesterday (Tuesday 22nd 2016) after the team rounded off its training session in Abuja before departing for Kaduna said he knows that the Egyptians have some sleek-footed players which means they will not be given the chance to play their game. According to him, the duo of Roma of Italy winger, Mohamed Salah and Arsenal of England midfielder, Mohamed Elneny may be very good players but only them cannot win the game for their country which means they are not the only ones to be closely watched throughout the duration of the encounter. “We are not going to be afraid of attacking the Egyptians, we know them already but all that we want to ensure is that we get our tactics right. We have to play as a unit together and not to give those guys that we believe that can give us problems room to play because if you give them room to play, they will destroy you. We know them and we have to make sure they don’t have that room to operate.” On why he seemed so relaxed going into the big match, Siasia said; “You know that Egypt is not two countries put together, and again I have utmost confidence on the players we have and with such players, you don’t have to worry about anything. I am also at home and so must not have any pressure here.” He also revealed that the boys will train again in Kaduna on arrival so as to help them get ready to the hot Nigerian weather.
