FG VOWS TO COMPLETE ON-GOING PROJECTS IN ANAMBRA STATE AND ACROSS THE COUNTRY

The Federal Government has reiterated its determination to complete all on-going projects across the country.

The Minister of Power Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, stated this while inspecting the mausoleum of the first indigenous president of Nigeria, the late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwein Onitsha, Anambra State.

The Minister maintained that the present administration would intensify work on the Second Nigeria Bridge as it would have a direct impact on the welfare of the people.

Also, the Minister of Labour, Employment and Productivity, Dr. Chris Ngige, who accompanied Mr. Fashola on the visit, said the completion of Zik’s Mausoleum was a fulfillment of the promise made by the present administration to honor the great Zik.

In a remark, the contractor handling the construction of the Federal Secretariat, Mr. Cosmas Agagbo appealed to the Federal Government to provide more fund to facilitate the completion of the project.

The Minister inspected other on-going federal projects in Anambra State.
