ESPHCDA PARTNERS FRCN ENUGU TO PUBLICIZE COVID-19 2ND DOSE VACCINATION

Members of the public, who took the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, are advised to present themselves for the second dose.

The Executive Secretary, Enugu State Primary Health Development Agency (ESPHCDA), Dr. George Ugwu, made the call when he led other members of the Agency on a courtesy visit to the Management of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Enugu Zonal Station.

Dr. Ugwu emphasized that the Agency with the mandate to deliver qualitative and affordable healthcare services, especially to rural dwellers, had repositioned itself to be more effective in providing basic essential health services.

He commended the Governor of the State Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who he said was behind the success of the Agency, especially the completion of the brand new thirty-three healthcare centres across most local government areas in the state.

Dr. Ugwu, while commending Radio Nigeria for its quality programmes, stated that the aim of the visit was to solicit the support of the Corporation in publicizing the ongoing second dose of COVID-19 vaccine to the general public.

The Zonal Director FRCN, Enugu National Station, Pastor Emmanuel Inegbedion, thanked the Management of the Enugu State Primary Healthcare Development Agency for their service to humanity and also the State Governor for repositioning health centres in the state.

He assured them of the Corporation’s support.

Pastor inegbedion also noted that the Corporation would amplify the campaign to encourage the people to accept healthcare intervention as a way of improving their lives.
