2019 ELECTIONS: NEW CP IN ANAMBRA STATE READS RIOT ACT TO POLITICAL THUGS AS ENUGU CP ASSUMES OFFICE

The new Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, Mr. Muatapha Dandaura, has assured electorate in the state that the conduct of February Saturday 16 elections will be free and fair.

He also gave an assurance that no one would be molested or intimidated  during and after the 2019 general election.

Mr. Dandaura who said he was not in Anambra State to support any political party, warned all political thugs to stay off the polling boots on the election day as the Command would not tolerate any rascality from both candidates and their supporters.

He commended the support of the Anambra State Government to the Command towards reduction in crime in the area.

Meanwhile, a new Commissioner of Police for Enugu State Command, Mr. Sulaiman Balarabe, has assumed duty.

He took over from former Commissioner of Police Mr. Danmallam Mohammed who had been redeployed to Force Headquarters Abuja.

The new Commissioner of Police was posted from Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Police Force where he served as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations.
