GOV. IHEDIOHA MAKES NEW APPOINTS: SSG, CHIEF OF STAFF AND MEDIA AIDES

Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo state has approved the appointment of Chief Uche Onyeagocha as the Secretary to the State Government.

Chief Onyeagocha represented Owerri Municipal, Owerri North and Owerri West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives between 2003 and 2007.

The Governor has also appointed a one time member of the state House of Assembly and Secretary to the State Government Chief, Chris Okewulonu, the Chief of Staff, Imo State
Government House.

A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Chibuike Onyeukwu, indicated that Mr. Chima Nwana is the Deputy Chief of staff while Chief Chinemerem Madu was appointed Chief of Protocol.

The appointments take immediate effect.

Governor Ihedioha had earlier announced Mr. Steve Osuji as Special Adviser on Media while his long time aide, Mr Chibuike Onyeukwu is the Chief Press Secretary.
