APC RECONCILIATORY COMMITTEE VISITS ENUGU, PREACHES PEACE

Aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are encouraged to sheath their sword and support the party to ensure its victory in the 2019 general election.

The head of the party’s Peace and Reconciliation Committee and Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, made the appeal in Enugu when he led other members of the committee to Enugu State to reconcile aggrieved party members.

Governor Ganduje called on the party’s candidates in the state to be magnanimous in victory and extend hands of fellowship to the aggrieved members.

Some of the aggrieved party members had earlier complained of being short changed in the party’s primaries.

The State Chairman of the party, Dr. Ben Nwoye and the governorship candidate, Senator Ayogu Eze, in separate speeches, thanked the committee for their efforts to ensure peace and unity in the party.

They equally extended hand of friendship to the aggrieved party members.

Party members that attended the event included the Enugu East Senatorial candidate,Mr. Lawrence Eze, his Enugu West Counterpart,Mrs. Juliet Ibekaku-Nwagwu and the South East National Vice Chairman of the party, Mr. Emma Enukwu.
