WORLD-CLASS DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE TO BE BUILT IN ANAMBRA STATE

Anambra State Government says it will build a world-class Diagnostic Centre to improve quality health care services in the area.

The Commissioner for Health in the State, Dr. Joe Akabuike who retained his portfolio in the new dispensation made this known while addressing Newsmen in Awka, as he assumed duty.

Dr. Akabuike said he would take the Health Sector to the next level in the new administration, as the Sector would witness remarkable transformation.

He thanked Governor Willie Obiano for the confidence reposed in him and the workers of the Ministry for their support and co-operation during his first outing.

Dr. Akabuike challenged the workers to pray for him and the Ministry to succeed.

The Commissioner commended the Media for being great partners in progress.

In a remark, the Acting Director, Medical Services in the Ministry, Dr. John Ndibe pledged the co-operation and support of the workers.

Dr. Ndibe, observed that the Commissioner performed significantly well in his first term in office and wished that the second outing would be even better.
