POLICE NAB DRIVER FOR STEALING HIS EMPLOYER’S VEHICLE IN EBONYI

Police in Ebonyi State have arrested the driver of one Mrs. Ugo Nnachi for allegedly stealing her official vehicle.
A statement by Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mrs. Loveth Odah, explained that the driver, whose name was given as Sunday Nwankwo, made away with Mrs. Nnachi’s Toyota Hilux with registration number EDA 630 AA to Ogidi in Idemili Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Mrs. Odah said the Command deployed its special crack squad that trailed the suspect to Ogidi where he was already negotiating with some syndicates to buy off the Hilux.
She noted that efforts were on to arrest other fleeing suspects while the suspect would be prosecuted after investigations.
