IMO STATE GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES OPERATION SEARCH AND FLUSH, DISTRIBUTES OVER 100 PATROL VANS TO SECURITY AGENCIES

Imo State Government has launched operation Search And Flush (SAF) as part of the present administration’s initiative programmes to combat crime and disasters in the state.

The State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, while distributing over one hundred patrol vehicles in Owerri, charged security agencies to ensure that all the nooks and crannies of the state were properly covered to reduce criminal activities to barest minimum. The Governor appealed to Imo people to cooperate with security agents by providing them with useful information to curb in their areas.

Governor Uzodinma on the occasion unveiled an Emergency number 112 and Communication Center for quick response to crimes and other emergencies in the state

Heads of security agencies, including the State Commissioner of Police, the Army Commander 34 Artillery Brigade Obinze, the Civil Defence Corps, among others were handed over the vehicles.
