FINALLY EBONYI STATE GOVERNMENT PLANS TO PROMOTE WORKERS

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has approved the promotion of civil servants in the State with effect from 2021.

A statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Francis Nwaze, explains that the implementation of the exercise would be based on vacancies created by those retired or other occurrences in the service.

According to the statement, “the Governor directs Heads of different Ministries, Department and Agencies to immediately commence compilation of all vacancies in their offices and schedule qualified personnel for a written promotion examination, which will be the determinant for those to be promoted.”

Radio Nigeria gathered that this is the first time workers in the employ of the Ebonyi State Government will be going for promotion since the advent of Governor Umahi led administration.
