Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has called on Nigerians to embrace the New Year with courage and unity of purpose to overcome the nation’s adversaries.

In his new year message in Abakaliki, Chief Umahi noted that though the challenges facing the country were enormous, there was the need to keep hope alive.

He emphasized that massive investment in education, infrastructure, qualitative healthcare and economic empowerment would remain key priorities of his administration in line with the 2021 projections of the state.

The Governor explained that the state government had worked assiduously to sustain the peace and secure the state to the extent that so far no crime or road accident had been recorded since the Yuletide.
