EASTER CELEBRATION: OVER 4,000 POLICEMEN DEPLOYED FOR SECURITY IN IMO

The Imo State Police Command has deployed four thousand, seven hundred and sixty of its personnel for protection of lives and property during the Easter celebration.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Command Mr. Orlando Ikeokwu and made available to journalists in Owerri.
The statement said the command was collaborating with other security agencies in the state to ensure hitch-free festivities.
The statement further assured the people, especially those returning from outside the state of their protection as the command had put adequate measures in place to guarantee their safety.
While wishing Christian faithful a happy Easter celebration, the Command urged them to continue to partner the force through sharing of useful information that would help nip crime in the bud.
