CORPS MEMBERS URGED TO PRIORITIZE NATIONAL INTEREST

National Youths Service Corps members undergoing orientation in Imo State have been urged to imbibe the spirit of hard work and patriotism to enable them to realize their goals.
The Director General of the scheme, Brigadier General Suleiman Kazaure gave the charge during a visit to corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation camp, Eziama- Obaire in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.
He called on the youths to be resilient in the pursuit of those things that promoted national interest in line with the objectives of the NYSC.
Brigadier General Kazaure represented by a Director in the Scheme, Mrs. Ngozika Chukwuka gave an assurance that NYSC would continue to accord priority to the security and welfare of corps members.
The Imo State Coordinator of NYSC, Mr. Robert Aroni expressed appreciation to the management of the scheme for the provision of logistics and equipment needed to upgrade the clinic in the camp.
He said the corps members had demonstrated high level of discipline in the camp and urged them to remain law abiding even after the orientation.
