25 SENIOR POLICE OFFICERS IN ANAMBRA STATE COUNT THEIR BLESSINGS

The Police Command in Anambra State have decorated twenty five senior police officers recently promoted by the Police Service Commission.

The promotion was made following the recommendation of the acting Inspector General of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu.

Decorating the newly promoted senior officers at the Command headquarters in Amawbia, the Commissioner of Police, Mr Mustapha Dandaura implored them to exhibit high sense of discipline and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
He warned the officers to shun all forms of corruption and uncivil attitude towards the members of the public as the command would not hesitate to take disciplinary action against anyone found culpable.

Six Chief Supritendents of Police got promotion to Assistant Commissioners of police while eleven Deputy Superintendents of Police were promoted to the rank of Superintendents of police.

Also two Assistant Superintendents were elevated to Deputy Superintendents of Police, while six Inspectors got the rank of Assistant Superintendents of police.
Responding on behalf of the newly promoted officers , Mr. Ahmadu Garbage thanked the Police Service Commission and the Inspector General of Police for finding them worthy of the promotion, promising to redouble their efforts towards protecting lives and property . The Police Commissioner also used the occasion to assure residents of the State of the Command’s resolve to ensure the safety of the people.
