CLERIC URGES FG TO CLINICALLY SCRUTINIZE COVID-19 VACCINE

Politicians and those in leadership positions have been called upon to rededicate themselves to God as that is the only solution to the myriad of challenges confronting the country.

The General Overseer , Tree of Life Ministry, the Reverend Dada Obi, made the call while speaking with Radio Nigeria in Nanka, Orumba North Llocal Government Area of Anambra State.

According to the Rev. Obi, the nation can not expect rapid progress when the leaders have not embraced the laws of God, which preaches love and care for one another.

The Reverend Obi described as counter productive, a situation where politicians and those in corridors of power kept accumulating wealth for their generations unborn while their followers continued to die in abject poverty and starvation.

The Tree of Life General Overseer called on the Federal Government to pay adequate attention to rural farmers by encouraging them with necessary assistance rather than promoting agriculture only in the media.

The Reverend Obi cautioned against rushing to collect drugs for COVID-19 cure saying that such medicine must be clinically scrutinize by the Federal Government to avoid administering vaccines that would cause more harm to Africans.

He said the nation must imbibe the fear of God and ask for his forgiveness over the wanton waste of innocent lives of poor citizens who struggled daily for survival.

The cleric however called on fellow religious leaders to tell the people the truth and preach more about the fear of God rather than laying too much emphasis on wealth.
