LGA AND COMMUNITIES IN ENUGU STATE TO BE LINKED BY QUALITY ROADS – GOV UGWUANYI

Ugwuanyi at wkThe Enugu State Government says its massive construction of roads is intended to link communities and local government areas for rapid development of the state.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi made the assertion during an unscheduled inspec&on of some of the link road projects embarked upon by his administration particularly those at 9th Mile Corner, Ngwo, Amankwo-Eke Odudo-Ameke Ama brewery roads.
Other roads he inspected were Opi- Nsukka dual carriage road, Echara-Ogurugu road as well as Orba road.
He explained that this was in line with the campaign promises to the people to bring democracy dividends to them without hitches.
Addressing the people at two separate points in Ogurugu and Enugu roads, both in Nsukka Local Government Council, Governor Ugwuanyi noted that government objectives can only be achieved through constant prayers, active participation and support of the people.
According to the governor, government has earmarked the sum of one hundred million Naira to develop each of the seventeen Local Government Councils of the state in order to facilitate its grass-root development projects designed to upli4 the living standard of the people.
Some of the people of the area commended Governor Ugwuanyi for his development programmes
to be5er the lot of Enugu State citizens.
They noted that the projects would go a long way to open up hidden businesses to a5ract local and
foreign investors to the state.
