NATIONAL SPORTS STADIUM LAGOS TO BE PRIVATISED
The senate has called for the privatization of the National sports stadium, Lagos.
Kapital FM correspondent James Itodo reports that the senate committee chairman on sports, Senator Obinna Ogba made the call during the twenty sixteen budget defense by the youth and sports ministry in Abuja.
Senator ogba expressed concern over the dilapidated nature of the stadium, adding that it would be better managed under the private sector.
The lawmaker appealed to government at all levels not to take issues regarding youth empowerment with levity.
Senator Ogba, gave the assurance that the youth would have allocation in the budget to enhance their wellbeing.
