SUBMIT 2014 CONFAB REPORT TO NATIONAL ASSEMBLY… Methodist Prelate Tells FG

The Prelate Methodist Church Nigeria, Dr Samuel Uche has called on the Federal Government to submit the report of 2014 CONFAB to the National Assembly for debate on its implementation to move the country forward.
Speaking at a news conference during his apostolic visit to Ebonyi State, Dr Uche emphasized that the CONFAB report raised credible solutions to the myriad of challenges which threatened the peace and unity of the country.

The Prelate commended President Muhammadu Buhari for enforcing Local Government autonomy and called on anti-graft agencies to investigate any Governor who tampered with Local Government allocation.
Dr Uche also called for rotational presidency among the six geopolitical zones of the country noting that such arrangement would reduce political tension that characterized the nation’s democracy since 1999.
