APC RALLY IN UMUAHIA: OYEGUN CLAIMS PARTY HAS DONE WELL

The National Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Oyegun, says the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has recorded land mark achievements in the Agriculture and power sectors.

Chief Oyegun made this known at a rally organized by APC in Umuahia, Abia State.

According to Chief Oyegun, the country under the administration of President Buhari is now self sufficient in the production of rice and other food items.

He noted that power supply had increased from 3,000 mega watts  to 7,000 mega watts in the two years of President Buhari led government.

The APC National Chairman stated that the Federal Government was committed towards bettering the living conditions of the people through the provision of democracy dividend at the grass roots.

At the event, Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha commended the people of Abia State for coming out en mass to grace the occasion stating that the APC led government at the national level had done a lot for the south east zone.

In his address of welcome, the Abia State Chairman of the APC, Chief Donatus Nwankpa said that the party remained the only party that believed in internal democracy, equity and justice.

He enumerated some of President Muhammadu Buhari’s achievement in south east.

These included work in the ongoing second Niger Bridge, rehabilitation of the Enugu- Portharcourt express way, Enugu-Onitsha express way and payment of benefits to Biafran police men.

The rally was graced by prominent personalities among including a former Governor of the State, Chief Orji UzorKalu; a former Governor of Enugu State, Chief Sullivan Chime; and some members of the Abia State House of Assembly that defected from other political parties to APC.
