APC Presidential Campaign Train arrives South East
It was with great excitement amid cheers as the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari arrived at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu at about 9: 54 am with Nigerian Airforce Flight 5N- FGT.
On arrival, the President was received by the Enugu State Governor, Chief Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. The President was accompanied on the visit by APC leadership including the Lagos State Governor, Akinwumi Ambode.
Others were the Ministers of Transportation, Rotimi Amechi, Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama, and Science and Technology, Ogbonnia Onu.
The All Progressives Congress, APC Chieftains where also in their numbers to welcome their presidential candidate for the February sixteen election in the country.
The Nigerian Airforce, Army, Police, Department of Security Service, and other paramilitary organisations were not left out in the crowd to ensure adequate security.
The President has however departed for Anambra State with Nigeria Airforce chopper, NAF 540.
He is expected back in Enugu for inauguration of a project at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus and campaign rally at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu.
