NYSC EXTENDS SERVICE YEAR OF 20 CORPS MEMBERS IN EBONYI

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ebonyi State has extended the service year of twenty two corps members for flouting the regulations of the scheme during their service year.

The Coordinator of NYSC in Ebonyi State, Mrs. Foluke Oladeinde, announced this during the passing out of 2023 Batch A Stream II Corps members at the NYSC State Headquarters Abakaliki.

Mrs. Oladeinde explained that some of the corps members absconded from their places of Primary Assignment and commended those who successfully completed their service year for dedication to their fatherland.

She explained that 742 / corps members comprising
383 males and 359 females passed out.

The State Coordinator enjoined them to leverage on the job experience they got during SAED programme to become job creators and not job seekers.

Some of the corps members described the service year as a huge blessing considering the experience they had garnered in the course of their service year.
