NDLEA ARREST 20 YR OLD SUSPECT WITH 219.65KG OF CANNABIS SATIVA IN IMO

The National Drug Law enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Imo State Command, says it has arrested a twenty year old Bright Mbamara with sixteen bags of dried weeds, suspected to be cannabis sativa.

This was contained in a statement signed by the command’s Public Relations officer, Mr. Lamuwa Shehu.

The statement noted that the suspect was arrested with the substance weighing two hundred and nineteen point six five zero kilogram in his family compound at Umueli Amaraku in Ikeduru Local Government Area of the state.

The statement also noted that the Imo State Commander if the NDLEA, Mr. Reuben Ape, charged parents to pay attention to their wards to avoid some other persons luring them into unwanted path.

The statement said Mr. Ape lamented that a boy of that age should rather be in school and not on the streets selling hard drugs.

According to the statement, the suspect, who is in the NDLEA custody, is undergoing investigation, and will soon be made to face the full wrath of the law.
