IMO GUBER: IHEDIOHA WINS IN TRIBUNAL, EXTENDS HANDS OF FELLOWSHIP TO OPPONENTS

Governor Emeka Ihedioha of Imo State has described the ruling of the governorship election petition tribunal, which affirmed his victory at the poll, as a confirmation of the will of the electorate in the state. The Governor made the comment in Owerri while reacting to the judgment, which was delivered at a high court in Abuja that ended in his favour.

He commended the judiciary for painstaking efforts in ensuring that justice was done in the petitions brought before it by candidates of the AA, APC and APGA challenging his declaration as duly elected Governor of the state in March 2019 governorship election in the state. Chief Ihedioha called on his opponents to close ranks with him to ensure the success of the “Rebuild Imo Project” of  his administration.

He described his victory as divine and vowed not to disappoint the people that gave him the mandate. The Governor immediately after the ruling proceeded to a church to offer prayers and thanksgiving to God for ensuring the Victory.
