GOV UGWUANYI PROMISES TO PAY MEDICAL BILLS OF NZA STREET ACCIDENT VICTIMS

Enugu State Governor, Mr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has pledged to pay all the medical expenses of those involved in a ghastly road accident on Nza Street, Independent Layout Enugu on Thursday November 4.

Governor Ugwuanyi stated this when he, alongside his Deputy, Mrs. Cecilia Ezeilo, visited the accident scene and survivors in a hospital in New Heaven Enugu.

He also made funds available to the hospital management to ensure that the victims received proper treatment without delay.

The Governor condoled with the families of victims, who lost loved ones in the unfortunate incident, and thanked those who responded promptly in rescue operations.

The tragedy, which struck at Nza Street Junction Independence Layout, a short distance from Government House Enugu, involved an articulated vehicle which rammed into a number of tricycles, killed several people and injured many.
