GOV IKPEAZU SWEARS IN ABIA STATE CUSTOMARY COURT OF APPEAL PRESIDENT

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has sworn in Justice Okey Nwamoh as the substantive President of the State Customary Court of Appeal.

At the event held at Government House, Umuahia, Governor Ikpeazu, noted that the Judiciary remained a critical arm of government and would continue to receive the needed support for enhanced performance.

The Governor, who stressed the need for collaboration among the arms of government, charged the new President of the Court to maintain cordial relationship among the three arms of government in a democracy.

According to the Governor, the vast wealth of experience of the new President of the court was fundamental.

In a remark, Justice Nwamoh promised efficient service delivery and thanked the Governor for the opportunity to serve in keeping with the oath of office and allegiance.

The Governor also inaugurated the reconstituted Abia State Judicial Service Commission.
