FRSC SECTOR COMMANDER CAUTIONS DRIVERS AHEAD OF THE CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Anambra State Sector Command has warned motorists against violation of traffic rules and regulations, before, during and after Christmas and new year festivities.

The Sector Commander of the Corps, Mr. Andrew Kumapayi, gave the warning in an interview with Radio Nigeria in Awka.

He said that it was important for motorists to obey traffic regulations to reduce the loss of lives and property on road, most especially during festive periods.

Mr. Kumapayi stated that officers and men of the Corps would be on ground to control the gridlocks to reduce the discomfort that motorists might experience during, before and after the celebrations.

The FRSC boss in Anambra State also enjoined motorists to adhere strictly to the specified speed limit and cooperate with FRSC personnel and other sister agencies that would be on the road to control traffic.

He admonished motorists to make sure that their vehicles were in good condition and ensure they possessed their driver’s licence.
