Election Update at Imo State

Accreditation and voting are yet to commence in most polling units across Imo state. Although materials arrived early at the development sec school Owerri Azu Uzii ward 3 with 4 voting points materials arrived as early as 7.45 am but voting could not commence by 8 am as scheduled.
However at Uzii primary school Owerri ward 4 as at 9 am materials were yet to arrive the area.
Prospective voters are waiting patiently.
The story is the the same in some polling units visited at emekuku in Owerri North LGA.
Our Correspondent at orlu in orlu LGA says the situation is the same in some polling units visited.
There are security agents manning road blocks at major roads in the state.
The atmosphere is generally calm and peaceful.
