COURT OF APPEAL TO BE BUILT IN ANAMBRA SOON – GOV OBIANO
Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has charged judges to ensure speedy dispensation of justice in the area.
Governor Obiano gave the charge while inspecting the on going upgrading of Awka Customary Court of Appeal building in Awka.
He said the state had received approval for the establishment of Court of Appeal in Anambra, would be built in Awka.
He noted that the establishment of Court of Appeal in the state would expedite justice delivery as the backlogs of cases in Enugu would be transferred to Anambra State.
Governor Obiano also remarked that the establishment of a Court of Appeal would create jobs for the teeming unemployed youths.
The Governor expressed the hope that the Court of Appeal would commence sitting in February this year.
