AE-FUNAI LECTURER MURDERED, CORPSE RIDDLED WITH BULLETS

A lifeless body with bullet wounds believed to be that of a male lecturer in Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State has been picked up by security agents at Ogoja Road near Rice Mill Abakaliki.

Radio Nigeria gathered that the said lecturer, akuru an Nwoke, who registered his vehicle with an online car hire services as result of the protracted ASUU strike, had driven to a popular Restaurant at Ogoja Road to drop customers on Sunday January 10, 2021 when he went missing.

However, his lifeless body was discovered the following day with gunshot wounds while his car was nowhere to be found.

One of his colleagues in the University who posted his picture on Facebook described him as a lecturer in the Department of Philosophy.

Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer in the State, Mrs. Loveth Oda, for further enquiry was not successful but it was gathered that his remains had been deposited in a mortuary.
