GUNMEN ATTACK EZZA NORTH HEADQUARTERS IN EBONYI

Security agents have foiled an attempt by unknown gunmen to set ablaze a section of Ezza North Local Government Headquarters in Ebiaji, Ebonyi State.
The Chairman of the Local Government Area, Chief Ogodoali Nome, told journalists that the gun men broke into a section housing some electronic gadgets and documents and set them ablaze.
He noted that the hoodlums, who were in their numbers, carried out the attack in the wee hours of the day but were repelled by security agents who engaged them in a gun duel.
Efforts to get the reaction of the police were not successful but Radio Nigeria gathered that the attackers were yet to be arrested.
