The Zonal Director Federal Radio Corporations of Nigeria (FRCN), South East, Pastor Emmanuel Inegbedion, wants the management and members of staff of Radio Nigeria Pacesetter FM, Umuahia, to rededicate themselves to greater service delivery to reposition the station for improved productivity.

Pastor Inegbedion gave the charge during a Staff Forum to mark the end of his two day facility tour of the station.

The Zonal Director also told the members of staff of the station to continue to work as a team in the discharge of their responsibilities.

He explained that total dedication to duty and team spirit would lead to good quality content, increased patronage, revenue and more funds to address the welfare of members of staff.

Pastor Inegbedion assured members of staff that efforts would be intensified to meet the station’s energy and infrastructure challenges, adding that they should contribute their quota towards providing the broadcast need of the public and achieving the mandate of uplifting the people and uniting the nation.

In his opening remarks , the General Manager it the ststion, Mr. Uche Ndukwe, thanked the Zonal Director and the Deputy Director, Internal Audit, Mr. Frank Okoli for the visit, which he said had afforded the management and staff the opportunity to share their experiences and challenges of the station with the topmost management of the zone.

For his part, the Assistant Director Programmes, Mr. Chukwuneke Agbarakwe, said the visit of the Zonal Director would go a long way to boost the morale of staff towards bringing out their best.

In an interview, some members of staff said their interaction with the Zonal Director had given them the opportunity to learn a lot and rekindled their zeal.
