FRCN ZD COMMENDS PURITY FM FOR PROFESSIONAL COVERAGE OF ANAMBRA GUBER POLL

Management and staff of Radio Nigeria Purity Fm Awka have been commended for their professional coverage of the November 2021 Anambra State Governorship Election.
The Zonal Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Enugu National Station, Pastor Emmanuel Inegbedion, gave the commendation during a facility tour of the station.
He expressed happiness that members of staff gave a good account of themselves during the election and charged them to sustain the tempo of professionalism.
“I want to commend the team spirit of members of staff of Purity FM, Awka, especially the way they conducted the reportage of the Anambra Governorship election.
“That was a remarkable achievement by the management and team of Purity FM. I only want to sue for consolidation in this kind of team spirit,” he stated.
The Zonal Director, who said that staff welfare was his priority, also warned against unprofessional conducts that could undermine the mission and vision of the organization.
He charged the management and staff of Radio Nigeria Purity Fm, Awka to pay attention to the need to satisfy their clients within and outside the state with quality services.
Pastor Inegbedion assured them that all identified operational challenges would be addressed within the means of available resources, to enhance the operational capacity of the station.
“The essence of my facility tour is to be able to know areas where people have facility deficit so that we can address them with a view to enhancing our productivity in order to serve our communities better.
“And the only way to do that is to ensure that our equipment are working at optimum capacity to uplift the people and unite the nation.
“Radio business has become very competitive. To that extent, every hand must be on deck to see that we give our very best.
“Staff welfare is number one on my priority list. But, I can actualize it to extent that staff key into my vision,” the Zonal Director explained.
