GOV UMAHI EFFECTS MINOR CABINET RESHUFFLE

Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle in the state.

A statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kenneth Ugbala, explained that the reshuffle affected the Commissioner for Infrastructural Development for Concession, Mr. Oluchukwu Ukie Ezeali, as he had been moved to the Ministry of Business Development.

It further stated that Dr. Stephen Odo, who hitherto was the Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Business Development, would oversee only Commerce and Industry.

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Road Maintenance, Mr. Frank Ngwu, is now in charge of Infrastrictural Development for Concession and Maintenance while Mr. Kerian Ofoke, who was the Governor’s Special Assistant on Airport Project, has been moved to Attitudinal Change.

The statement further explained that the change was to enhance efficiency and effective service delivery.
