POLICE ARREST 2 SUSPECTS FOR KILLING EBUBEAGU OPERATIVE IN EBONYI

Police in Ebonyi State have arrested two suspects in connection with alleged murder of a member of Eastern Security operative, Ebubeagu, identified as Ifeanyi Orogbo in Ikwo Local Government Area.

Investigations revealed that the attack occured at Ekechara Market, Agubia Road Ikwo while the victim was at his shop on Christmas Eve.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mrs. Loveth Odah, explained that the suspects and others at large killed and set ablaze the body of the security personnel.

She said that investigations were on to ascertain the motive behind the alleged killing and to ensure that other fleeing suspects were arrested to answer for their heinous crimes.

The victim was among over four thousand Ebubeagu operatives recently inaugurated at Pa Ngele Oruta Township stadium by Governor David Umahi.
