VICTIM OF FIRE INCIDENT CALLS FOR ASSISTANCE

enugou logoProperty worth thousands of naira have been razed by fire at camp one, Line three, Iva Valley Enugu.

Narrating his ordeal, the owner of the structure, which is a make shift one room apartment, Mr. Emmanuel Ebede said he and his wife with two of their children were taking fresh air outside the house when the incident happened.

Mr. Ebede who noted that there was no public power supply at the time of the incident pointed out that his wife lit a candle stick to illuminate the room for their four months old baby who was sleeping in the house.

An eye witness, Mr. Peter Akama who said he was the one who alerted the victims, said it took the joint efforts of neighbours to rescue the four months old baby and put out the fire.

The victim, Mr Ebede who is now homeless and without food and clothing is calling on government and good spirited individuals to come to his aid.
