SOUTH EAST GOVERNORS FORUM HOLDS 2017 SOUTH EAST ECONOMIC SUMMIT
The South East Governors Forum is to hold its 2017 South East Economic Summit from Saturday, 11th to Monday, 13th November. The theme of the summit is “Repositioning of the South East for Rapid Economic Development.”
A statement by the Director-General of the Forum’s Secretariat, Professor Simon UchennaOrtuanya invites all Nigerians to the event. It indicates that the special guests of honour are, a former President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Chief OlusegunObasanjo, the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu and the President-General, Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief NniaNwodo.
According to the statement, the Summit Chairman is Professor Anya O. Anya while the keynote speaker will be Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa. It advises those concerned to take note of the change of venue for the event. Venue for the first day, eleventh November is The Base Place, number 7/8Aguleri Street, opposite Enugu High Court, Independence Layout, Enugu.
Events for twelfth and thirteenth November will hold at Nike Lake Resort Enugu.
The South-East Governors of Ebonyi, Abia, Anambra, Enugu and Imo States are the hosts.
