ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL SCALE THROUGH POLICE RECRUITMENT —AIG ZONE 13

The ongoing police  recruitment is  part of effort by the Federal Government to improve on security coverage across the country. The Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in Charge of Zone 13, Ukpo,  Anambra State, Mr. Danmallam Muhammed, stated this shortly after he paid an unscheduled visit to the venue of the Screening exercise at Professor Dora Akunyili Development Centre,  Awka.

Mr. Muhammed, who noted that the exercise in the zone would continue local government by local government, gave an assurance that only qualified candidates would scale through at the end of the recruitment.

The AIG said that the Nigerian Police was following the directives of the Federal Ministry of Health in terms of  Social Distancing and other COVID-19 protocol. Mr. Muhammed noted that the Federal Government had approved the recruitment of  10,000 (ten thousand) men and women into the country’s Police Force.

Radio Nigeria gathered that the recruitment for three thousand people from the state, which commenced with Anambra East and West Local Government Areas, would continue with other local government areas.
