OHANEZE NDIGBO CANVASSES THINK HOME PHILOSOPHY

The New Executive of Apex Igbo Cultural Organization Ohaneze  Ndigbo wants the people of the South-East to invest towards the development of the region.

The President General of the Organisation, Chief John Nnia Nwodo made the call in Enugu in his maiden news conference since assuming office.

Chief Nwodo encouraged Nigerians of Igbo extraction to support the organization to enable it to achieve its mandate.

“I want ndigbo to go with the confidence that you have inaugurated the beginning of a new era for Ohaneze; a new era of transparency and accountability; an era for the repatriation of Igbo capita for the building of new economic infrastructure for our people.”

Chief Nwodo appealed to the people to think home always and continue to work hard to excel in their areas of endeavour.

“That’s why am telling Igbo businessman, even coal in Enugu (to) start an industry here. If we repatriate some of our business expertise, we will turn this place into the China of Nigeria. We will make a difference here.”

Representatives of the seven Igbo speaking states of Abia, Anambra, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo and Rivers were present at the briefing.
