Flying Eagles Defeat Dabo Babes In Friendly Match

The Flying Eagles Nigeria defeated Kano based Dabo Babes football club 5-0 in a friendly match in their build up to the Africa U-20 cup of Nations Qualifiers.

FIFA U-17 World Cup record top scorer Victor Osimhen scored thrice, Samuel Chukwueze bronze boot winner at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Chile 2015 also had his name on the scorers sheet while Chukwudi Agor scored the fifth goal in the game.

The match was the second in a series of friendly games lined up for the Nigeria national U-20 team as they prepare for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures with Burundi.

Eight teams will participate in the finals of the Africa U-20 cup of Nations in Zambia next year and the four top teams will represent Africa in the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Korea Republic.
