WE WILL PERFORM MORE THAN THE PDP, UCHE OGAH ASSURES PEOPLE OF ABIA STATE
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has called on the people of Abia State to vote massively for the party’s candidates in the forthcoming general election in the country.
Comrade Oshimhole made the call during the commencement of campaign and handing of flags to the Governorship, National Assembly and State Houses of Assembly candidates of the party in Abia state.
Addressing the large crowd of APC supporters,Comrade Oshimhole urged the electorate to cast their votes for all the candidates of APC both at the federal and state levels.
He assured them that the APC led government in the state, if voted into power, would turn around the economy through prompt payment workers’ salaries, adequate healthcare delivery, Education, infrastructural development and adequate security.
The APC boss urged the people to come out in their numbers on the 16th of February 2019 to re-elect President Muhammadu Buhari.
Comrade Oshimhole enumerated some of the achievements of President Buhari in the South East.
They included construction of 2nd Niger Bridge, reconstruction of Enugu Port Harcourt expressway, Home grown school feeding program for school children, N-Power scheme for youths and rehabilitation of some access roads in the five states of the South East through the NDDC projects.
In an address the State Chairman APC, Abia State, Chief Donatus Nwankpa, while describing President Buhari as a God fearing and incorruptible leader, called on the people to vote back Mr. President as well as all the APC candidates in Abia State to power.
In his acceptance speech shortly after receiving the flag, the Governorship candidate of the party in Abia state, Dr. UcheOgah, thanked the party for confidence reposed on him and pledged to move the state forward if voted.
He assured the people that his administration would within the first two years of being in power clear all the discomforting issues the PDP administration brought to the state.
Prominent party members,including Minister of Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige; Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu; Governorship candidate of the party in Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma; among others graced the occasion.
