NIGERIANS TOLD TO VOTE OUT UNPRODUCTIVE POLITICIANS IN ELECTIVE POSITIONS

Nigerians are advised to take advantage of the 2019 general election to vote out unproductive politicians in elective positions who have failed to make positive impact on the quality of lives of people.

A guest on Radio Nigeria Enugu Political programme,“Political Watch”who is the All Progressives Congress candidate forEnugu North and South Federal House of Representative, Mr. Tony Nwafor made the call during the programme.

He identified corruption, lack of commitment and vision by politicians as some of the reasons elective office holders failed to keep their campaign promises.

Contributing, the Enugu East Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Prince Lawrence Eze said ignorance on the side of the electorate to hold those they had entrusted leadership accountable was a major challenge to fulfillment of campaign promises.

The discussants called on the people to vote political parties with well thought out manifestos that spell out ways of tackling development challenges facing the country.

Callers in the programme implored political office holders to be sensitive to the plights of Nigerians and always be available to interface with the people.
