Igbo Bu Igbo Socio – Cultural Organisation visit Radio Nigeria ENUGU

An Igbo Socio – Cultural Organisation, “Igbo Bu Igbo”, says it is committed to the infrastructure and socio-economic development of the Igbo nation as well as the revitalization of Igbo Language and Culture.

The Chancellor of the Organisation, Doctor Law Mefor stated this when he led some executive members of the organisation on a Courtesy Visit to Radio Nigeria, Enugu.

Doctor Mefor explained that the visit was to seek the support of Radio Nigeria to publicize the inaugural conference of the group coming up today in Enugu.

He observed that though many Igbo indigenes preferred to reside and do business outside Igbo land, the organisation would try to reverse the trend to restore the Igbo nation to its pride of place.

The Chairman, Central Planning Committee of the event, Dr  Bibian Okereafor pointed out that the  organisation was working to complement the efforts of other Igbo cultural organisation.

The Zonal Director, Radio Nigeria, Enugu represented by the Deputy Director, Audit, Mr Frank Okoli commended the group for their foresight.
