APGA WINS AROCHUKWU & ABA SOUTH CONSTITUENCIES RERUN
The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has won the rerun election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for Arochukwu and Aba South Local Government Area of Abia State.
Announcing the result for Arochukwu state constituency the returning officer, Professor Austin Uwakwe, said Mr. Mike Ukoha of APGA polled a total of Six thousand, five hundred and fifty votes to beat Mr. Eric Kalu of PDP, who scored five thousand one hundred and twenty-nine votes.
For Aba South State Constituency, Mr. Obinna Ichita of APGA, polled a total of four thousand, six hundred and thirty-four votes to defeat Mr. Clinton Ebere of PDP, who scored three thousand, one hundred and fifty-four votes.
