The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Abia State chapter says it has adopted the member representing Aba North and South in the National Assembly, Mr. Ossy Prestige, as its Party leader in the state.
Addressing journalists at the Party’s Secretariat in Umuahia, the State Chairman of the party, the Reverend Augustine Ehiemere, said resolution to chose Mr. Prestige as the leader was based on the constitution of the party.
The Reverend Ehiemere maintained that the state leadership of the party would continue to accord Mr. Prestige the respect and recognition as the leader of the party in the state without fear of contradiction.
He noted that the state working committee of the party is united and had resolved to work together for the common goal of its members.
The Reverend Ehiemere claimed that it was APGA that could deliver the state from the political and Economic bondage it had been facing since 16 years now.
On the forthcoming congress of the party in the state, the Reverend Ehiemere advised party members not to allow unscrupulous members to decisive them in attending illegal meetings not approved by the state working committee as such would not guarantee them a place in the congress.
