VOICE FM 96.7 STAFF RECEIVE ZONAL DIRECTOR IKE OKERE

Voice-FMThursday January 15, 2016 is a day that will go down in history as one that brought back hope to the staff of Radio Nigeria Voice fm 96.7 Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria. The maiden visit by the Zonal Director, was an opportunity for the staff to present their strength and weaknesses as well as explore available opportunities for growth of the station.

The General Manager of the station, Aka Eze Aka, highly appreciative of the Zonal Director’s visit, conducted the august guest round facilities in the young station, and appealed for an extension of broadcast period of the station to satisfy the content needs of the target audience.

Mr Okere, apparently pleased with the progress made by the station over the short period of her existence, announced that an upgrade of facilities had commenced, including a follow up streaming of signals on-line to meet the listening needs of her audiences around the world.

He advised that emphasise be placed on local content to properly inform Nigerians in the diaspora of happenings in Nigeria.

He appreciated the efforts of the workers and guest artistes in reaching the audiences, and promised to give priority to their welfare.

Mr Ken Ike Okere took over as Zonal Director of South East zone from Mr Emeka Odikpo who has since moved to Lagos as Director, Lagos Operations of Radio Nigeria.
