PROF NNENNA OTI EMERGES FUTO VC

The Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) has selected a new Vice Chancellor for the Institution. She is Professor Nnenna Oti. 

Announcing the result of the interview, which was attended by seven candidates, The Pro- Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the University, Professor John Offem, said Professor Oti scored seventy-five point five percent to beat her closest rival Professor Ikechukwu Dozie, who scored sixty-nine point seven percent.

Meanwhile, the Pro Chancellor, Professor Offem, said that the name of the new Vice Chancellor will be forwarded to the Visitor to the University in line with the procedure.

Professor Oti will be the 8th substantive Vice chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Owerri.
